Decisions

When we step into the room I ask Nic to turn on the music as I get some drinks out the fridge. I’m confused I don’t know where to start, so I decided to start with everything I knew, I told them about Ray-Ray being my father and giving the reigns to the family’s weed business. Nic and Kane both looked at me strangely, before they both began speaking at the same time. They wanted to know if I was going to take over, wanted to know if I was going to need a crew, and if I was going to get any of the family money. I explained the best I could what Ray-Ray had explained to me. I told them that I would be running all the family’s weed business and be given a small crew of runners and that I could bring in some of my own trusted associates. I told them that’s why I’m talking to the two of you I want you two to be the muscle behind my words. Both of them were too happy to agree because they had been working for my uncle for years and still weren’t making any real money. Then we came up with a plan on how we wanted to run the business, by the end of the night I was sure that taking over the business was just what I needed to not stay in a funk and I called Ray-Ray to set up a meet. He was going to come to lunch at our hotel room the next day. We let the sofa bed out for Kane and went into the bedroom to spend some time alone.

The next morning we woke up bright and early took a shower and prepared for the meeting. We ordered some from the restaurant in the hotel and had them bring it up to our suite. When Ray-Ray arrived with his security, they stayed in the room with Nic and Kane and had lunch while Ray-Ray and I ate in the living room and talked. Ray-Ray questioned me about bringing those two in with me, he understood Nic but he told me to keep my eye on Kane because he had a large family that he was supporting. Then he told me the full lay out of the business and explained that he had set up a meet with the rest of the folks who would be under me, for later on today. Then he had one of his security guard bring me two bags with 100 grand in them and a briefcase. The briefcase held the deed and keys to a three bedroom house out in O’Fallon, Illinois, the keys to a Cadillac Escalade black on black, insurance policies, two 9mm glocks, passcodes, keys to a safety deposit box, addresses to pick up spots, and keys to all my safe houses. Then Ray-Ray let me in on my place in the family.
